I am working on getting my new (to me) 1959 Fiat 600 back on the road. I am faced with the decision of either rebuilding the original 633cc engine or replacing it with the larger 850 engine. There are some complications to the 850 conversion that can be overcome. My goals for this car is for it to be a nice weather commuter fun car. Nothing to do with going fast really, more about getting good mpg (did I just say that).

Any experiences would be welcome. Share your stories and advice on doing this swap, I am all ears. We named her Sophia BTW.

Would you sell your classic for $2000 more than its value?
