    I rebuilt engine with 87 mm piston kit, reversed polarity and new distributor with Pertronix Ignitor. Need specs for degrees of advance at idle and degrees of total advance. No racing. Daily driver for past 26 years.

    It's in your Bentley or Haynes manual. For the paper impaired go to the Yahoo Triumph list, anything from Randall is gold

    No it is not. Specs change when distributor is paired with Pertronix Ignitor.

    I don't know why it would if you used the same distributor type. It still advances/retards the same way.

    Unless you're using a different Pertronix..or I am. At any rate, after a Pertronix install, I've used the same spec on every MG I have and they run very well.
