I'm on the road with Tim this weekend, and our travels have taken us to two awesome museums. I was at the Lane museum in Nashville yesterday to photograph some cars, and today we had a meeting at the Barber museum in Alabama. If you're within driving distance to either one, I'd strongly recommend putting a visit on the to-do list. Good stuff.

Living in Memphis, I've driven quite near the Lane several times, but unfortunately, it's either on a day they aren't open or at the "wrong" time of day (as in VERY late at night). Hopefully, I will make it next month, along with the antique car museum at Hershey.

I've also been to both, and they are well worth it. If you like motorcycles in particular Barber will astound you.

TR3, you need to make time to visit Lane. I promise you'll then find yourself returning. I bet Barber would be cool even if you weren't into bikes--it's almost more art than bikes.

As TR3only notes, we do have an odd schedule - closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so keep that in mind. We do it so that a)our weekend staff can get a weekend, and b) so those going to and coming from most east-coast shows and events can stop in on the way to/from.
David, we'd be glad to have you back anytime!
David
