Hello everyone, I'm on the regular GRM forum and it was suggested that I cross post my question here. I recently acquired a 1979 Mercedes 300D. Soon after purchasing said car, I saw a couple of pictures showing the W123 chassis cars like mine being used for rally racing back in the day. My question is, who can give me any information about them? I've tried searching everywhere I can think of but to no avail.

We saw this car in the Mercedes Museum last summer....looks like it was a Singapore Airlines sponsored race, so maybe somewhere in Asia? This is the only racing W123 we've ever seen...
