Redecorating Dec 30, 2007
Among our home’s unique features is a loft. Unfortunately, since we moved in the loft has served as the low spot—the place where crap kind of gathers. A week ago it held my wife’s bike, three of my BMX frames and boxes of junk. It was mainly storage, although that’s where we also did our ironing. I have always wanted to turn it into a library of sorts, and we started last week. We bought a bunch of bookshelves and started filling them this weekend—mostly my old Hot Rods plus my dad’s Road & Track’s and Sports Car Graphics. (My books are on shelves downstairs.) We’re nearing the home straight in that most of the magazines are sorted and shelved. Hopefully we’ll wrap it up one day this week. I’ll post pictures soon. (They’re on my wife’s camera.)
