Fastest cars I have ever driven Aug 27, 2006
Spent some time in the new Corvette Z 06 the other day. This is a car that instantly begs the question, what is fastest car that I have ever driven? No matter who you are, drive this car and it will be on your list. I guess the fastest car I have ever driven was Jay Leno’s Mclaren F1. It is going to take a while to beat that one? Before he passed on, I was lucky enough to drive Bob Olthoff’s (SP) personal 600 horsepower Superformance Cobra kit car. Certainly the quickest car, 0-60 that I have ever driven. The new Z06 is certainly number three on my all time list. This is one impressive car, especially for the money. That RoSpit, rotary powered Spitfire I built was probably fourth fastest on my list.
